The flooring goes in.

The ply floor has been laid. I will just sand it and put a clear coating over it to keep the light colour.





Here is the plate that sits on the end of the containier and is welded to the support.

A lot has happened in the last two weeks. The roof sheeting is finished and the decks have been started.

There is a layer of insulation attached to the roof sheets and there will also be R4s laid directly on top of the containers

Eleven AM
This is the view from the northern end. All doors will be removed and walls
will be built then windows and doors added.This is the southern side. Holes to be cut for windows and the back door.
Next step: the internal walls will be removed as needed and holes to be cut for doors and windows to be installed.

On Friday the piers had been put in place. (see last picture)
This morning the trucks arrived with the containers, one forty footer and two twenty footers. Three for the house and the other one for a shed. (click on images to enlarge)
